How can trouble in life be an opportunity?

First of all, it's an opportunity to give God glory and to shut the enemy's mouth. The devil said of Job
that the only reason Job served God was that God kept him out of trouble. God said, "You don't know
my servant Job." Job had much trouble, yet through all of it, he sinned not, nor failed to give God the glory.
So when a Christian goes through trouble, it shuts the devils mouth when he goes through the trouble praising
God. Also, it's a great testimony.
people really don't know whether we have great faith or whether we just never have had problems. Anybody
can serve God in the sunshine. When a Christian, with victory in his heart and genuine praise, endures tribulation, persecution, heartache, and tears, then people understand that God"s grace is, indeed, sufficient.
Therefore, we grow in troubled times if we choose to do so by praising God. The Psalmist said, " Thou hast
enlarged me when i was in distress." Most of us, if we think about it, will have to confess the times we've grown the most have been those times when we've experienced troubles.
