IT'S Your Power

Are you facing a difficult problem or complex challenge?  Do you think the situation is out of your control?  To create a successful outcome, you will have to combat the limiting belief that you cannot do anything about your circumstance.  “There is nothing I can do.  It’s out of my hands.”  This sabotaging self-talk will prohibit you from problem-solving, shutting down your mind’s natural ability to create a viable solution.  No matter what you are facing, you are never powerless.  Positive action is readily within your reach.  You may not be in direct control of the situation.  You cannot control the actions or decisions of other people.  However, you always have the power to choose your response.  You have the power to change your perspective and adjust your attitude.  You have the power to walk by faith and not by sight.  You have the power to declare a new standard for your life, taking responsibility for your actions and choices, and changing them for a better future.  You have the power to decree what is acceptable and unacceptable for your life.  No matter what you are facing, you are never powerless!  You have the power to reinvent yourself.  You have the power to expand your vision, and stop settling for anything less than your personal best.  You have the power to expand your territory, communicate new expectations, and set new boundaries.  You have the power to say “No.”  Are you using your personal power?  Or have you fallen for the fallacy, “It is what it is.  There’s nothing I can do.”  You have the power to trust God to be with you and sustain you in difficulty.  You have the power to envision a different outcome, and enlist the support of others to bring it to pass.  You have the power to influence and negotiate, cooperate and collaborate. Regardless of the circumstances, you are never powerless.  You have the power to forgive, and relinquish your right to hold onto a past injury.  You have the power to release yourself and others from unrealistic expectations, and the prison of perfectionism.  You have the power to unleash your creativity, using your highest level gifts and talents to create the extraordinary life you want.  No matter what you are facing, you are never powerless.  You ALWAYS have the power to choose, change, grow, envision, expand, decree, declare, respond, reinvent, release, restore, forgive, believe, trust, command, and create!  Use your power today!

How can trouble in life be an opportunity?

First of all, it's an opportunity to give God glory and to shut the enemy's mouth. The devil said of Job
that the only reason Job served God was that God kept him out of trouble. God said, "You don't know
my servant Job." Job had much trouble, yet through all of it, he sinned not, nor failed to give God the glory.
So when a Christian goes through trouble, it shuts the devils mouth when he goes through the trouble praising
God. Also, it's a great testimony.
people really don't know whether we have great faith or whether we just never have had problems. Anybody
can serve God in the sunshine. When a Christian, with victory in his heart and genuine praise, endures tribulation, persecution, heartache, and tears, then people understand that God"s grace is, indeed, sufficient.
Therefore, we grow in troubled times if we choose to do so by praising God. The Psalmist said, " Thou hast
enlarged me when i was in distress." Most of us, if we think about it, will have to confess the times we've grown the most have been those times when we've experienced troubles.
